Founded in 1980, Br0derbund created classics like Choplifter, Lode Runner and Apple Panic. By today's standards, the graphics and sound effects of these games were ridiculously simple, but at that time, these games brought ooohs and aaahs. Today, anyone who grew up during that exciting, revolutionary time remembers these classics.

Games back then relied on your imagination to fill in the gaps left by the simple graphics and music and sound effects made up of single, mono tones of beeps and bops.  These were games you could play from start to finish over and over.
